WRJH Families:
As we enter the final week before Christmas break, I would like to thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout the semester. This has been a busy and productive time for our students, and it has been wonderful to see their hard work and growth as we approach the end of the term.
This week, teachers will be wrapping up instruction and final assessments. It is important that students attend school each day, complete all assignments, and continue to follow school expectations through Friday. These last few days are essential for closing out the semester successfully and ensuring students are prepared for a strong start in January.
Throughout the week, students will participate in a few school-appropriate holiday activities organized by teachers and grade levels. These activities are designed to celebrate the season while maintaining a focus on learning, kindness, and community.
Our last day of school before winter break will be Friday, December 19 and students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6.
Finals Schedule
Final exams will take place on Thursday, December 18th and Friday, December 19th.
Thursday, December 18th: Students will take finals in their odd-numbered classes (1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th hours.
Friday, December 19th: Students will take finals in their even-numbered classes (2nd, 4th, and 6th hours).
Please remember that our regular bell schedule will remain the same on both days. Students will attend all classes as usual, with finals given during the assigned periods.
Please note that there is no staff supervision before 7:50 a.m., and students who arrive early are unsupervised. Recently, we have had a few incidents occur before the official supervision period begins, which has raised safety concerns. Our top priority is keeping all students safe, and we need your help to ensure that happens.
To maintain a secure and orderly environment, we kindly ask that you do not drop students off before 7:50 a.m. If you must arrive earlier, please make alternate arrangements for your child’s supervision until that time.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our staff, students, and families for making our school a positive and supportive learning environment. On behalf of the entire school community, I wish you a joyful and restful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming students back in the new year refreshed and ready to learn
