WRJH Families:

 I hope this message finds you well and that your week is off to a great start. As always, thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community.

This week we will be holding parent-teacher conferences. Conferences will be on Thursday from 4-7:30. These meetings are a valuable opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, discuss academic progress, and ask any questions you may have.

We strongly encourage families to participate in these conferences, as open communication between home and school is essential to student success.

Additionally, after-school tutoring will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:35–4:30 PM.

Math tutoring will take place in Mr. Borntreger’s room (Room 106).

English tutoring will take place in Ms. Prine’s room (Room 608).

Students who attend tutoring must be picked up by a parent or guardian promptly at 4:30 PM. These sessions are designed to provide students with extra academic support and reinforcement.

Please note that there is no staff supervision before 7:50 a.m., and students who arrive early are unsupervised. Recently, we have had a few incidents occur before the official supervision period begins, which has raised safety concerns. Our top priority is keeping all students safe, and we need your help to ensure that happens.

To maintain a secure and orderly environment, we kindly ask that you do not drop students off before 7:50 a.m. If you must arrive earlier, please make alternate arrangements for your child’s supervision until that time.

The MASTER SCHEDULE is built from the classes students request, so it is highly unlikely that you will be changed from the class you requested on your course request form in the spring.

FLYERS - To be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned to electronic flyer delivery and no longer distribute paper flyers.

• WRJH/Claremore will send emails on Monday and Thursday. RE: will say "# School Announcements or Opportunities for Your Child." You can also find them on our flyer webpage at your convenience.

STOPit - CPS has partnered with the STOPit app, an easy, effective way for students, parents, and employees to submit safety concerns, bullying, cyber abuse, neglect, and other inappropriate behaviors.

TUTORING - WRJH offers FREE in-person tutoring with our own teachers and online through Varsity Tutors. Find out more here. In-person will not begin until after September.
