WRJH Families: I hope you and your children had a restful and enjoyable spring break. We are excited to welcome everyone back to school and look forward to a strong finish to the school year!
As we return, I want to take a moment to highlight one of our core values: community. Our school is more than just a place of learning—it’s a place where students, families, and staff come together to support one another. This sense of connection helps create a positive environment where all students can thrive, and we are grateful for the role each of you plays in making our school such a special place.
I’m also thrilled to share that our recent Book Fair was a tremendous success! A special thank you goes to our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Eddings, whose hard work and dedication made the event possible. Thanks to her efforts—and your support—we not only encouraged a love of reading among our students, but also raised funds that will go directly back into our classrooms and library. It was wonderful to see so many students excited about books and engaged in the experience. Additionally, we want to inform our 8th grade families that high school counselors will be visiting our junior high campus this Wednesday to meet with students and assist with course selection for next year. This is an exciting step as our students begin preparing for their transition to high school. Thank you for your continued partnership. STOPit - CPS has partnered with the STOPit app, an easy, effective way for students, parents, and employees to submit safety concerns, bullying, cyber abuse, neglect, and other inappropriate behaviors.
TUTORING - WRJH offers FREE in-person tutoring with our own teachers and online through Varsity Tutors. Find out more here. In-person will not begin until after September.

With the passing of House Bill 3958, school personnel must include a parent or guardian in any electronic communication with a student unless it's on a school-approved platform related to academics. Approved platforms include ROOMS, Google Workspace (Classroom, Docs, Sheet), Infinite Campus, StopIt, Edgenuity, and Acellus.
