WRJH Families:
I hope this message finds you well and that your family is enjoying a positive start to the week.
As we continue through the semester, I would like to share several important updates and highlights from our school community. Our students are demonstrating continued growth and commitment in their academic work, and our teachers remain dedicated to providing engaging instruction and meaningful support. This month, we are especially focused on our core value of grit—encouraging students to persevere through challenges, remain resilient, and take pride in their effort as much as their achievement. We are proud to see many examples of students demonstrating determination and a strong work ethic in their daily learning.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our PTO for organizing a highly successful Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game. This event was a wonderful example of school spirit and community engagement, and we are grateful for the time and effort that went into making it such a memorable experience for our students.

FLYERS - To be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned to electronic flyer delivery and no longer distribute paper flyers.
STOPit - CPS has partnered with the STOPit app, an easy, effective way for students, parents, and employees to submit safety concerns, bullying, cyber abuse, neglect, and other inappropriate behaviors.
TUTORING - WRJH offers FREE in-person tutoring with our own teachers and online through Varsity Tutors. Find out more here. In-person will not begin until after September.

With the passing of House Bill 3958, school personnel must include a parent or guardian in any electronic communication with a student unless it's on a school-approved platform related to academics. Approved platforms include ROOMS, Google Workspace (Classroom, Docs, Sheet), Infinite Campus, StopIt, Edgenuity, and Acellus.
