Catalayah Supporters:

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Homecoming last week! Events like this truly remind us how special our school community is. The pep assembly last Thursday was so much fun, and it was great to welcome our athletes, band members, cheerleaders, dance team, and Homecoming court to our school. Our elementary students love looking up to the older kids and seeing what it means to be part of our school family. A big congratulations to our 2nd grade for winning the spirit stick.

Thank you to everyone in our community for making this week so memorable!

2027-2028 Academic Calendar

The Claremore Public Schools Board of Education approved the district-recommended calendar for the 2027-28 school year. A committee of school representatives developed the calendar with input from teachers, administrators, and parents. Our team worked diligently to ensure it would optimize student learning while accommodating the needs of the families we serve.

September-Routine

As we settle into the school year, one of the most helpful things we can do is give children a predictable daily routine. Young minds thrive on consistency-- knowing what comes next helps kiddos feel safe, reduces morning anxiety, and builds independence. Small habits, including enforcing a consistent bedtime, establishing a set time for reading or homework, or following a calm morning checklist, can make a huge difference in your child's day. When children feel grounded at home, they come to school ready to learn, make friends, and confidently work through new challenges. Thank you for partnering with us to build strong foundations for our students. If you ever need ideas or support in establishing routines at home, please feel free to reach out via phone or email.
